Terri Bronson (May 2, 1963 – November 20, 2024)
Terri Bronson, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, ended her earthly journey on November 20, 2024, in Arco, Idaho at the age of 61.
Terri was born on May 2, 1963, to William “Bill” Isaacs and Mary Lou Smith Isaacs in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She was the oldest of three children. Terri grew up in Taylor and attended schools in Shelley, Idaho.
Following High School, Terri married Norman “Dee” Griffin, and they welcomed their daughter Burgandy Lynn into the world. Dee and Terri were later divorced.
On December 21, 1985, Terri married her best friend and the love of her life, Joe Bronson. Joe would later legally adopt Burgandy to make their family complete. Joe and Terri lived in Shelley until 1997 when they moved to the Lost River Valley and made Arco their home. Joe and Terri shared 40 beautiful years together. Terri and Joe cherished every moment together, spending their days as much as possible living, laughing, loving, and making memories. Their love and devotion to each other was an inspiration to all who knew them.
Terri dedicated over 20 years of her life to working as a para-professional for the Butte County School District, making a lasting impact on the lives of countless students.
Terri was the life of the party and always willing to jump in and give a hand to anyone in need. No mile was too far to go when it came to helping others. Her kindness, generosity, and infectious spirit touched the hearts of everyone she met.
In her spare time, Terri enjoyed tending to her many plants and taking care of the greenhouse. She spent countless hours with friends doing crafts and enjoying many hobbies. The grandkids were Terri’s pride and joy and she looked forward to the times she was able to get the family together, no matter what the occasion. Her love for life, her family, and community will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her loving husband, Joe Bronson, their daughter Burgandy (Sam); three beloved grandchildren Rylan, Remington, and Easton, and her siblings Bill Isaacs and Paula (Sam) Jaramillo.
Terri’s legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched, and her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 29, 2024, ~ 12 Noon at the Butte High School Auditorium. A viewing will be held for one hour prior to service. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Shelley, Idaho under the direction of the Anderson Family Funeral Home.

Terri Lou is my aunt and one of the most interesting women I’ve ever had the pleasure to know. When I was a child, she’d let me stay at her home whenever we came to visit. She taught me how to make the best scrambled eggs (the secret is mayonnaise, cheese, and paprika), and the unrivaled joy of fireworks, and what it was like to be a fierce and independent woman. I wish I’d gotten more time to know her after I grew up, but I’m thankful for the time I had. My condolences to my uncle Joe, my cousin Burgundy, and the rest of my Idaho family. Terri Lou was a beautiful, funny, kind, and luminous woman. Rest in Peace, family.
