On Saturday morning, April 09, 2022, Stanley Dale Blattner, a father and friend, passed away at the age of 57. At the time of his death, Stan was living in Arco, Idaho. He was born in Arco, Idaho on January 28, 1965, to Garth Blattner and Barbara Huelsman. Stan was a brother to Mike, Leslie, Tisa, and Matt.

Stan lived most of his life in Arco, Idaho where he graduated from Butte County High School, and also met his wife, Carolyn Jensen, of 30 years at the Idaho Gold Champaign Mine. From their marriage, Stan and Carolyn were blessed with three children, Shelby, Gerrett, McKenzie, and two grandchildren, Cody and Josh.

Stan started working at a young age on the farm with his dad. After working various jobs including construction and the gold mine, he spent the next 21 years at the Idaho National Laboratory as a heavy equipment operator.

When Stan wasn’t working his long list of hobbies took up most of his time. Over his lifetime Stan picked up all sorts of hobbies such as; racing RC cars, building and crashing RC airplanes, dirt biking, snowmobiling, bowling, corn hole, horseshoes, golfing, team roping, bird hunting, big game hunting, archery, playing poker, waterskiing, wakeboarding, snowboarding, steelhead and bass fishing, shooting trap, cooking on the Trager and farming.

Stan was preceded in death by his father, Garth Blattner; stepmother, Tracie Blattner. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Huelsman; stepfather, Jim Huelsman; wife, Carolyn Blattner; brother, Mike (Bettina) Blattner; sister, Leslie (Trevor) Berrett; sister, Tisa Cudmore; brother, Matt (Maritza) Huelsman; brother-in-law, Jim Cudmore; daughter, Shelby (Mitchell) Nielson; son, Gerrett Blattner, daughter, McKenzie Blattner; grandson, Cody Nielson; and grandson, Josh Nielson.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 15, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Butte County High School, 120 N. Water Street, Arco, ID. A viewing will be held Thursday evening from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Anderson Family Funeral Home, 2555 N. Highway 93, Arco, ID and from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the school. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Arco.
