Roy Wayne Helderman was born in Gooding, Idaho on November 11, 1947, to Harvey & Phyllis Watson Helderman.

He attended schools in Fruitland, Idaho and graduated in 1966.

He married his first wife Sue in 1966 and to this union they had two children, Michelle Ann and Brandon Jarett.  His second marriage was to Vicky Fisk.  His third and final wife was a charm, when he found the love of his life, Vickie Inez Bell.  They were married for 37 years at the time of his passing.  With this marriage he gained three children, Burke, Kolby and Cameron Myree.

Roy had four sisters, Kathy, Karen, Jenny and Robin.  He also had one adopted brother, Eric.

His hobbies included golfing, hunting, snow machining, riding his slingshot and Harley, which took him to Sturgis 3 times.

He had several jobs, even being a bank teller at one time.  He also worked for Power Line Construction.  His favorite was owning and operating his bars.  In the early years at the Antlers Club and later years at the Mello Dee Club.

Roy passed away on July 17, 2024, at the Idaho Falls Community Hospital of a sudden illness.

He is survived by his wife, Vickie; his daughter, Michelle (Earl); his sons, Brandon (Kim), Burke (Andrea), and Kolby (Elishia); his mother, Phyllis Voigt; his sisters, Kathy, Karen, Jenny and Robin; his stepbrother, Eric; 10 grandsons, 3 granddaughters, 3 great grandsons and 1 great granddaughter.  He was preceded in death by his father Harvey Helderman, stepfather, Gerry Voigt and the second love of his life, his daughter, Cameron.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at 1:30 P.M. at the Moore Community Center, 3155 N. 3353 W., Moore, ID.  A family visitation will be held for ½ hour prior to the service at the community center.  Arrangements are under the care of the Anderson Family Funeral Home.
