Rosanna “Jewel” Davison

Rosanna "Jewel" Davison, 84, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2023, at her son's home in Moore, Idaho.

She was born December 19, 1938 in Toppenish, Washington to David and Irene Houghton Porter.  Jewel was raised and received her education in Washington, where she graduated from Walla Walla High School.

On June 3, 1956 she married her sweetheart, Lloyd Harold Davison Sr.  They made their home in several western states, living in Palouse and Walla Walla, Washington, Twin Falls, Idaho, Glendale, Arizona and finally moving  to Moore, Idaho with her granddaughter, Amber,  in 1998, to be closer to family.

Jewel enjoyed crocheting, sewing, watching television, especially John Wayne movies and the television series, Yellowstone.  Her greatest joy came from spending time with her beloved family and special moments with her granddaughter, Kayli.

Surviving are her children, Hal (Vicki) Davison, Susan (Ron) Owens, Randy (Zebby) Davison and Amber Baxter; her grandchildren, Tressie Davison, Dameniel (Michael) Owens, Desiree (Larry) Barksdale, Heather (Gio) Dover, Destini (Taylor) Gordon, Shelbi (Michael) Carey, and Kayli Davison; many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; her daughter-in-law, Cerese; her sisters-in-law, Deanna Aichele and Marti (Norm) Sandlin.  She was preceded in death by her parents, David & Irene Porter, her husband Harold Davison Sr., son Charles Davison, sister, Laura (Pete) Olsen, brother David (Delilah) Porter, brother Ervin (Ruth) Hockstatter, and brothers-in-law, Frank Aichele and Gary Neubauer.

A private family service will be held Saturday, June 3, 2023.  Interment will be in the Lost Rivers Cemetery in Moore, Idaho under the direction of the Anderson Family Funeral Home.
