Marva G (Larson) Carhuas of Jerome, Idaho passed away on October 22, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospital in Twin Falls, Idaho.
She was born July 24, 1953, to Lawrence and Carol Larson in Arco, Idaho. Marva was the 4th of seven children. She was raised in the Lost River Valley and lived there most of her growing-up years. She enjoyed reading and being with her family.
Marva fell in love with Leonidas Carhuas and they were married in October of 1981 in Elko, Nevada. They lived in the Magic Valley to be close to schools for their sons. They lived a good life together. She was an easygoing person and loved her family dearly. She was one of those special people who when she told you that she loved you, you knew that she meant it.
Surviving is her husband, Leonidas Carhuas; three sons, Wesley, Thomas, and Antonio; three sisters, Leah, Lois, and Kelly; 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and 17 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, Larry, Allen, Kevin, and a niece Shannon.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 29, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Anderson Family Funeral Home. A viewing will be held for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Arco.
