Dr. Kleal M. Hill of Arco Idaho passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2022, peacefully in his pickup next to his Veterinarian Clinic.
Kleal was born on October 18, 1950, in Challis, ID to Bruce and Theda Hill. He attended schools in Mackay, Idaho, and upon graduating he went to Moscow, ID to attend the University of Idaho. He was then accepted into Veterinarian School at Washington State University in Pullman, WA where he graduated in 1978. He returned to Arco, Idaho and opened his beloved practice.
Kleal married Linda Gaffner and they were blessed with two children, Clinton and Anne. They were later divorced. On Jan 10, 1981 he married Susan Hejtmanek in Elko, NV.
Kleal loved his horses and was always involved with all the horse activities in the valley. He was a part of the Central Idaho Futurity, Mountain Valley Horsemen's Assoc., and Butte County Fair Board. He was inducted into the East Idaho Ag Hall of Fame and the East Idaho Horseman's Hall of Fame.
He is survived by his wife Susan Hill, Arco, ID; his children, Clinton & Lisa Hill, Leslie, ID, Kirk & Charlotte Robertson, Arco, ID and Anne Hill, Mesquite NV; his siblings, Terrel & Jean Hill, Nampa, ID, Keith & Jane Hill, Mackay, ID, Brent Hill, Lorrie & Dave Surerus, Moreland, ID; 9 grandkids, and 1 great-grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bruce and Theda Hill, a sister, Sandra Evans, a brother-in-law, Thomas Hejtmanek, and his in-laws Tom & Florence Hejtmanek.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Moore Community Center, 3353 W 3155 N, Moore, ID. There will be a viewing on Friday evening from 6 to 8:00 pm. at the Anderson Family Funeral Home, 2555 N. Highway 93, Arco, ID, and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the Community Center. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Arco, ID.
