Colleen Berntsen Anderson, 86, passed away peacefully at her home in Mackay, Idaho on Thursday, December 5, 2024.

She was born on October 30, 1938, in Logan, Utah to George and Twilla Jones Berntsen.  Colleen was raised in Mackay, Idaho where she graduated from high school.

On January 29, 1955, she married Jack R. Anderson in Chilly, Idaho.  They made their home in Montana, Utah, California, New Mexico and Idaho.

Colleen loved watching the Los Angeles Dodgers, reading books and doing puzzles.  She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She is survived by her son, Dennis Anderson, Mackay, ID; her daughters, Jackie Lawson, Albuquerque, NM and Michele Blondis, Bandon, Oregon; a sister Terri (Byron) Pehrson, Moore, ID; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack R. Anderson; a son, Jeffrey Anderson; her parents, Twilla and George Berntsen; sisters, Marilyn Cloward and Janice Rodman; a brother, Brent Berntsen and her in-laws, Dean & Bertha Anderson.

Cremation services were under the care of the Anderson Family Funeral Home in Arco.
