Tana Lynn Beverly

Tana Lynn Bruderer Beverly was born to Arvil Dean Bruderer and Shannon Rose Parsons on July 3, 1967, in Arco, Idaho. Tana is the youngest of four siblings. At the age of 56 and after a lengthy 14-year battle with cancer, Tana entered the arms of Jesus on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at her home in Blackfoot, ID, surrounded by family and friends.
Tana graduated from Butte County High School in 1985. Tana worked at Pickles Place, ATC Communications, and Lost Rivers Medical Center but mostly enjoyed her time developing her talents and giving to others.
Tana had a fun personality; for example, she dressed up at Easter in a bunny suit on a spring fishing trip and walked along the shore and threw candy to the fisherman.

Tana was a gentle soul who thought deeply and was kind to all she interacted with. Tana loved her solitude in nature by admiring rocks, collecting berries, and making jams and jellies. She enjoyed camping and even made a one-time kill of a 9 by 8 Mule deer.
Tana attended the yearly Bruderer reunions started by her grandparents Conrad and Anna and enjoyed the quilting legacy generated by Grandma Anna. Tana enjoyed her association with the paternal side of her family. She played humorous games and, one year, even dressed up as an ostrich with her dad.
She enjoyed her interactions with her weekly sewing group. She possessed multiple talents and hobbies, such as making cards, quilts, blankets, and animal pillows, many of which she donated to various fundraisers and animal shelters. Before passing, she tenderly loved, cared for, and served her aging parents. Tana rivals the New Testament disciple Tabitha, a woman full of good works and alms deeds; for Tana, these acts gave her inner joy.
Tana has always been very religious; she was a Christ Country Cowboy Church congregation member with Pastor Joe Stepp and held a special place in her heart for Pastor Keith Stayman of Lost River Bible Church in Arco, ID. Tana showed her deep conviction in Jesus Christ. She honored Him through her acts of kindness, which was reciprocated with Jesus’ love for her, giving her rest from her life’s journey on a Sabbath day, in December, when the birth of Jesus is celebrated around the world; so that those who remember her will remember that Jesus loves and saves.
In 1986, Tana married Brian Allen and later divorced. She later found the love of her life, Edward Allen Beverly Jr., and they were married on April 25, 2008. Ed brought two wonderful stepchildren to the relationship, Steven, and Angela Beverly. Tana and Ed have shared 15 wonderful years. They lived in Arco, ID, until recently relocating to Blackfoot, ID.
Tana is survived by her parents of Arco, ID, and devoted husband, Ed. of Blackfoot, ID. Stepson Steven (Alisha) Beverly, two step-grandsons Tray and Braden of Boise, ID, and Stepdaughter Angela of Arlington, TX. Half-sister Sarrah (James) Mayfield of Maricopa, AZ, half-brother Robert Mark (Melissa) Ostler of Calverton, NY and Orem, UT, and brother Travis (Valerie) Bruderer of Belfair, WA. Surviving aunts and uncles include Wesley Bruderer, Raymond Bruderer, Edwin (Klea) Bruderer, (Ellen Mae) wife of Ivan Bruderer, (Julie) wife of Dennis Bruderer. and many nieces and nephews.
Tana was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Conrad (Anna) Bruderer, and several aunts and uncles. Lorin Bruderer, Alma (Dorothy) Bruderer, Victor (Nathalie/Billie
Jo/Marjorie/Kathy) Bruderer, Leonard (Donna) Bruderer, Ivan Bruderer, Melvin Bruderer, Delbert (Marian) Bruderer, Howard (Fay) Bruderer, Dennis Bruderer, Aunts Virginia Alder, C.
Ruth Swendsen, and (Darlene) wife of Raymond Bruderer.

It will be followed by graveside services at Arco Hillcrest Cemetery. 4. I am unable to be there with you all as you celebrated Tana’s life. My heart is with you and of course Tana. I haven’t seen her in person for several years but she has still been a very large part of my life through letters, notes and phone calls. So I am spending this time today doing things that make me feel close to her. Stitching on a scrappy quilt, praising God, sipping warm tea. I wish I could join in the stories with all our church friends, sewing circles and all the folks that Tana shared her light with. Till I see you in Heaven Tana, you will remain so much a part of my life here. Your Sister in Christ, Sherie Edmonds
